Skincare stuff I picked up recently + (some) first impressions

aesop skincare

Most of my skincare is "green".  I'm very fussy about this. I'm a seriously afraid of chemicals penetrating into my skin and causing cancer. This, however, doesn't stop from using expensive makeup that is DEFINITELY not natural. Sigh But at least my Caudalie moisturizer is parabens-free. So let's have a look at skincare with photogenic packaging.

I've repurchased the Weleda Almond Cleaning Lotion several times. I love the subtle scent and it is so so gentle to the skin. Also: 100% natural and only great ingredients.

Of course, I go for a natural deodorant. The Lavanila Healthy Deodorant has been very hyped up among the beauty community. I was super eager to try it. However, my first impression is rather meeh. It goes on very nicely and has a dry texture, which I like. But I don't like the smell. I thought it would smell vanillery, but it doesn't. At all. The ingredients are fantastic, so I will keep using it.

Another hyped up product: The Aesop Parsley Seed Mask. CANNOT. WAIT. To try it! (The Aesop deodorant is my fave natural deodorant btw!)

And a hand cream. I have loads of hand creams. And I use them all up till the last bit. I mean, you cannot really go wrong with a hand cream. So, yeah, first impression of the Aveda hand relief is good. Moisturizes, sinks in quickly. Like.

Caudalie Vinosource Skincare

Aaaand another hand cream. It's the Aesop Resurrection one. I've been seeing it on everybody's blogs. So, I wanted one, too. Yes, I'm that sad.

So excited for these two: the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet and the Caudalie Vinosource Matifying Fluid. I've already tried both and love 'em!!

I really want to get into the habit of exfoliating my lips more often. So I got the Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub. I tried it and it is basically sugar. Very gritty and smells like vanilla. Like.
