10 things I did in 2015

  1. [saw]: Ginger plants for the first time in my life. They are huge!! And the flowers absolutely beautiful.
  2. [smelled]: “Allure” by Chanel. I’m actually sniffing my jumper right now. Mmmm. Lovely.
  3. [learned]: Allot about cultural integration. I read an insane amount of books about that topic this year. For fun. I guess you can call me an expert-scholar-doctor-magna-summa-laude now.
  4. [watched]: TV Series! Fargo, Jessica Jones, Mr. Robot, Better Call Saul, Mad Men (!!!) - forever! I was literally afraid of the last episode. I just couldn’t imagine my life without the Mad Men world.
  5. [tasted]: Truffle oil! Where have you been all my life?? This was definitely my gastronomic discovery of the year.
  6. [listened]: Probably far too much to my inner voice that goes like this: “Wohoooooo! Let’s do this. Now. Right now. Awesome idea!” Turns out: sleeping over things is usually the better idea. - Hmm, could be my New Year’s resolution, actually: Don't rush into things! -
  7. [ate]: Loads of avocados! Day in day out. Going with the trend, you know.
  8. [touched]: Myself. *lol* Ok, let's be serious here. I touched (North) American soil for the first time. (Not counting a brief stop-over in Miami a couple of years ago.) And I was deeply touched by Hawaiian hospitality. Take this, grumpy Germans!
  9. [read]: Only non-sexy non-fiction. (Like: “Now for Then: How to face the digital future without fear.” - Good read, by the way!! - )
  10. [ditched]: Anything that didn’t “spark joy”. (Yep, I also read “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” by Marie Kondo.)
